Hopkins/Radical Bike Lobby

Branding & Signage

I am both a designer and organizer. When I found out protected bike lanes were proposed for my neighborhood I set to work designing yard signs, like we did with North Berkeley Now! This time I commissioned custom cartoons from a local illustrator, Sally Carson Redwood.

Buttons & Stickers

At one of the meetings about the proposed bike lanes on Hopkins, an opponent attempted to blast supportive residents by calling us members of "the radical bike lobby." Instead of feeling sad about the name-calling we took ownership of it and made buttons, which you can find at fine retail outlets like Blue Heron Bikes on Gilman St in the Westbrae neighborhood of Berkeley.

T-shirts

In addition to buttons, Radical Bike Lobby shirts were made as well. (buy your own here) Full disclosure: there's another, more radical-looking version that was first, not designed by me. You can find that one here.

Coloring Page

Because I've had little kids at home the entirety of my activism so far, I always tried to have something for them to do while the adults are getting their civic duty on. (download your own here)
